Council to Hold Legislative/Policy Conference

The Council of the Great City Schools will hold its Annual Legislative/Policy Conference next month in Washington, D.C. The in-person conference, the first since 2019, will take place March 19-22 at the historic Mayflower Hotel in the nation’s capital.
Topics to be discussed at this year’s conference include federal education funding for the 2022-2023 school year, COVID-19 mitigation in urban schools, congressional action on K-12 education, and the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) spending requirements.
