The Council of the Great City Schools will hold its Annual Legislative/Policy Conference next month in Washington, D.C. The conference will take place March 22-25 at the historic Mayflower Hotel.
The conference will provide an opportunity for Council members to discuss recent developments in federal legislation and funding and to advocate the policy positions of urban public schools. This year’s conference will cover key topics such as federal funding for the 2025-26 school year and beyond, policy proposals and action from the Trump Administration, and the education priorities of the 119th Congress.
