  • Amanda Corcoran joined the Council in 2006, and as Manager of Special Projects she coordinates the Senior Urban Education Research Fellowship program and works on activities related to the implementation of the Common Core State Standards. She has also helped to collect and analyze data, developing reports, surveys, and other publications on teacher quality, adolescent literacy, English Language Learners, and student achievement trends in urban public schools.

    Prior to joining the Council, Amanda worked in development for the International Baccalaureate Organization, and as a graduate research assistant at the Georgetown University Center for Public and Nonprofit Leadership. She holds an M.P.P. in Education and Social Policy from Georgetown University and a B.A. from Tufts University.
