  • As the Finance Manager at the Council of the Great City Schools, Alisa Adams is responsible for handling the day-to-day tasks for the organization’s accounting department. This includes assisting in developing and implementing budgeting, accounting, and financial control procedures;  conducting monthly financial analyses; maintaining the organization’s payroll system and benefits; and assisting in managing the organization’s grants and spending. In addition, she serves as a liaison for the organization during the annual audits. Alisa also served as the Council’s Finance Specialist.

    Alisa joined the Council in 1994 and prior to that, she was an Accounting Manager at Odyssey Systems in San Clemente, Calif.  Alisa has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from George Mason University.

    FUN FACTS: Alisa enjoys interior decorating, gardening and spending time with her three lovely granddaughters.
