Manish Naik has been a member of the legislative staff at the Council of the Great City Schools since 1998, working on issues such as Title I of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, federal appropriations, school construction, and education technology. Prior to joining the Council, Manish served in the Office of Workforce Development at the Rhode Island Department of Education in Providence, R.I., and interned in the United States Senate. He holds an M.A. in Education Policy from The George Washington University and a B.A. in English Literature and American Studies from Brandeis University.
