The Council of the Great City Schools held its 55th Annual Fall Conference in Boston, October 26-30, 2011. Hosted by Boston Public Schools, the conference brought together more than 1,000 big-city school superintendents, board members, administrators and deans of urban education to discuss issues and challenges facing the nation's largest urban school districts.
