Austin Independent School District
Austin Independent School District staff gave a presentation titled "Competitive Marketing: Increasing Enrollment Against the Odds" at the 2017 CGCS PRE meeting in July. Joining AISD staff were members of Sanders\Wingo, the marketing firm that helped the district conduct empirical research regarding effective messaging and built a campaign around the data. Some of the information presented, including message testing, the perception polls, etc. and are proprietary, thus the full presentation will not be able to be posted for broad public consumption. However, in the spirit of sharing best practices, staff from AISD agree to discuss and share with individuals, as appropriate and as time allows. Additionally, the collateral material produced for the campaign are public and the messaging from the districtwide campaign can be found at https://www.sanderswingo.com/aisd/.
