Project MALES is a mentorship program launched as a partnership between the University of Texas at Austin and the Austin Independent School District to encourage Latino high school students to think more broadly about postsecondary opportunities.  Project MALES is highlighted in this PBS NewsHour segment as high school students, and their mentors, explore the cultural and societal challenges of being Latino and low-income in a changing educational landscape.
