Teri Valecruz has been Director of Finance, Administration and Conferences for the Council of the Great City Schools since 1992. She is responsible for overall financial accounting and reporting, facilities management, personnel and office administration, and conference planning and coordination. She also serves as staff liaison with the Council’s Board of Directors and Executive Committee.

Valecruz joined the Council in 1982 as an Administrative Intern and subsequently held positions as Financial Assistant, Administrative Assistant to the Executive Director,  Management & Financial Specialist/Conference Coordinator and Financial Manager & Conference Coordinator. She received her bachelors of science degree in management and industrial engineering from Mapua Institute of Technology in the Philippines and holds a  masters of science degree in business administration.
