Title: Maintenance and Capital Improvement Planner

Saint Paul Public Schools is seeking a Maintenance and Capital Improvement Planner
who will report to the General Manager, Facility Operations and and perform responsible, professional work in planning and programming construction, repair and maintenance; evaluate the quality of performance against district standards for building maintenance; and perform related duties as required.
Responsibilities: Plans and programs, as directed, in-house and contractual capital improvements and construction involving district facilities, including maintenance with in-house trade staff. Estimates all labor and material requirements for team maintenance and
preventative maintenance requirements. Evaluates and reports periodically on the quality of building maintenance. Develops an annual report indicating the status of maintenance within the district and forecasting future maintenance needs in terms of labor and material
costs.
Minimum Qualifications: College graduation in engineering or construction technology or a related field with four years of professional experience in the planning and programming of building construction, maintenance and repair in institutional buildings; or eight years of building construction experience, at least four years of which involved the planning and programming of building construction, maintenance and repair in institutional buildings.
Saint Paul Public Schools is a 41,000 student K-12 school district which is comprised of 89 owned and leased facilities totaling approximately 7.5 million square feet and covering approximately 500 acres.
