The Pittsburgh Public Schools has an opening for Principal, Pittsburgh Miller PreK-8 School.
Pittsburgh Miller is an African-Centered School teaching and promoting the history and culture of people of African descent. It uses an Afrocentric approach to education.
The Principal must be committed to embracing the African-Centered approach to learning. Knowledge and understanding of the Afrocentric approach to education is required.
A Master’s degree in Educational Administration is required. In the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, a valid State Certification for K-12 Principal is required. Five years teaching experience, as well as five years experience as an administrator or supervisor is also required.
