Title: Executive Director of School Management High Schools

The Pittsburgh Public School District seeks an Executive Director of School Management for High Schools.
The individual in this position is responsible for performing the duties that will assist the Deputy Superintendent in facilitating the efficient operations and supervision of all middle and secondary schools. The Executive Director of School Management – High Schools reports to the Deputy Superintendent and works collaboratively with executive directors, curriculum supervisors, and other administrative staff in developing programs for student achievement.
The candidate must possess a Pennsylvania Superintendent’s Letter of Eligibility and have at least 5 years experience as a school-based principal, preferably at high school level. Prior successful school improvement experience and knowledge of research based school improvement initiatives. Prior experience in executing successful professional and staff development. Knowledge of federal, state and local standards, initiatives, and assessments. Demonstrated knowledge and use of District technology initiatives. Documented ability to utilize data for instructional decision making. Demonstrated use of fiscal resources that have efficiently, effectively, and equitably led to increased student achievement for all sub-groups. Experience in completing performance improvement plans related to formative and summative evaluation of professional staff. Excellent presentation and writing skills.
